Responsible Land Use
Planning promotes responsible use of land-based resources. The Jackson County Planning Division coordinates long-range planning through adherence to Jackson County’s Comprehensive Plan and applies the Land Development Ordinance (LDO) in the review of specific land use proposals.
Have Your Land Use Goals Reviewed
Review by the Jackson County Planning Division is the first step in any land development or construction project. Let the staff at Richard Stevens & Associates, Inc. help you through this process. In our experience, if you, the property owner, are not asking the correct questions when communicating with Jackson County Planning about your land use issues, the County will not be able to give you proper guidance. If you cannot receive proper guidance regarding your land use issues, you may not be successful with your land use goals.
